Teemu S.

Teemu S. has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Teemu started their career as an Assistant Product Development Engineer at Confidex Ltd. in 2010 and worked there until 2012. Teemu then joined Tampere University of Technology as a Project Researcher from 2012 to 2014. Following that, Teemu joined Nokian Tyres plc as a Development Engineer from 2014 to 2017, then become a Manager for New Technologies from 2017 to 2019, and finally a Senior Manager for Advanced Technologies from 2019 to 2020. Teemu then moved to VTT, where they worked as an Industry Renewal Lead for Transport & Mobility from 2020 to 2021. Teemu returned to Nokian Tyres plc and held the position of Senior Manager for Materials Development from 2021 to 2022. Teemu was then promoted to Head of Innovation & Development from 2022 to 2024, and currently serves as the Vice President for Innovation & Development starting in 2024. Their extensive experience in the field demonstrates their expertise and dedication to innovation and development.

Teemu S. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biomaterials and Industrial Management from Tampere University of Technology from an unspecified start year until 2012. Teemu then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Technical Polymer Materials from the same university, which they completed in 2013. In 2011, Teemu S. participated in a Semester Abroad program at The University of Sheffield. To further enhance their skills, they completed an Expert program in Innovation Management from LUT University in 2016-2017. In 2022, Teemu S. attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development to study Design Thinking.
