Majed Ababtain

Majed Ababtain is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer at NOMAC since August 2023, working in the maintenance department at the Rabigh IPP Steam Turbine Plant. Prior engagement includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer in the NOMAC Engineers Training Program at the Energy and Water Academy, focusing on CCGT operation and maintenance, photovoltaic system design and installation, and reverse osmosis operation and maintenance. Previous experience includes mechanical engineering positions at Adaa Design and Electric Powerbank for Hybrid Energy Systems, where substantial effort was dedicated to project design and operation. Majed Ababtain holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Western Michigan University.
