Nick Deans (CMgr MCMI) has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nick started their career at Rank Xerox, where they worked as a Systems Developer & Analyst, supporting European processes and logistics center fulfillment. Nick then moved on to BOC, where they worked as a Lead Analyst/Programmer on IBM DB2 systems and later transitioned to a project implementing SAP.
After that, Deans joined 3Com as an IT Business Services professional, where they spent 15 years working on various functional upgrades and bringing manufacturing and services onto the SAP platform. Following the acquisition of 3Com by Hewlett-Packard, they became a Project Manager & IT Business Consultant, overseeing the transition of SAP systems and data into HP.
Deans then joined Hospira as an IT Project / Business Relationship Manager, focusing on EDI projects and demand planning for EMEA Customer Services and Logistics. Nick later moved to RB, where they worked as an IT Business Analyst / Business Process Owner, collaborating with Sales and Supply Chain teams for the design, build, and roll-out of commercial ERP SAP systems worldwide.
Most recently, Deans is employed at Nomad Foods, where they have held various roles. Nick started as an IT Business Analyst before becoming an IT Business Solutions Manager, responsible for supply chain and operations. Nick then transitioned into the role of Technical Architect and is currently serving as the Technical Integration Lead. Nomad Foods is Europe's leading branded frozen food business, known for its high-quality products and market leadership across Europe.
Nick Deans (CMgr MCMI) attended Heriot-Watt University from 1980 to 1984 where they obtained a BSC Honours in Biochemistry (2.1) with a focus on the Department of Brewing and Biochemistry. In 2013, they also obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from the Office of Government Commerce (APMG).
