Matt Thien

Matt Thien has had a varied career in the operations and engineering fields. In 2020, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Nomad Global Communication Solutions, where they work directly under the CEO to deliver on Nomad business operational objectives. From 2006 to 2020, Matt worked at GE Aviation, beginning as an Operations Manager at Montana Precision Products. Matt was a key leader in developing an aerospace manufacturing culture aligned with safety, quality, delivery and compliance. Matt also held the roles of Integration and Growth Playbook Leader, Material Planner and Fulfillment, and Operations Management Leadership Program. Prior to GE Aviation, Matt worked at Walden Ponds Golf Club as a Golf Course Assistant in 2002.

Matt Thien completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 2004 and 2009. Matt then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from Xavier University between 2011 and 2013.
