Luiza Villela

Luiza Villela's work experience begins with their current role as a Product Manager | Investments at Nomad, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held various positions at XP Inc. At XP Inc., they served as an Associate Product Manager | Squad Lead | Banking, responsible for managing the Cash In team and overseeing the inflow of funds from banking clients. Luiza also worked as a Product Analyst | Banking, where they focused on driving growth and creating a seamless onboarding process for customers activating digital accounts at XP Bank. Additionally, Luiza gained experience as a Digital Products Intern | Banking, where they contributed to the launch of the digital account for XP Bank and gained experience with agile methodologies and user research. Before their time at XP Inc., Luiza worked as a Process Engineering Intern at BD, where they worked on process mapping, Six Sigma projects, and supported medical product manufacturing processes with a focus on cost reduction. Luiza actively participated in projects related to process loss reduction and applied lean methodologies to minimize waste.

Luiza Villela obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, completing their education from 2016 to 2021. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Digital Product Leadership from Tera, which they obtained in January 2022, and a First Certificate in English from Cambridge Assessment English, which they acquired in December 2018.
