Nicholas D'Ambrosio, Ph.D., GISP has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Nicholas is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of NOMADICS, where they have successfully transformed the company into a trusted data analytics and digital intelligence provider. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of the business, including planning, business development, operations, finance, human resources, R&D, and strategic partnerships.

Nicholas has also worked as a Defense Contractor for the U.S. Navy, serving as a Senior Systems Engineer for Grey Hawk Strategic and KMS Solutions, LLC. In these positions, they provided technical support, conducted research and development, and played a key role in system safety and risk assessment for various unmanned systems and autonomous vehicles. Nicholas worked closely with the Office of Naval Research and Naval Sea Systems Command.

In addition, Nicholas has served as an Adjunct Professor at County College of Morris, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Passaic County Community College. Nicholas taught courses in relevant fields and contributed to the academic community.

Earlier in their career, Nicholas worked for ProteQ as a Senior Area Specialist, providing program liaison and logistics support for CENTCOM in-theatre operations. Nicholas also supported the development and assessment of unmanned undersea and surface vehicles.

Additionally, Nicholas has experience in environmental and safety roles. Nicholas worked as a GIS Analyst & Ecologist for ExxonMobil, where they collaborated with various organizations to develop strategies for protection, recovery, and rehabilitation in response to pipeline incidents. Nicholas also held roles as an OSHA Compliance & Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at EORM and as an OSHA Compliance & Environmental Health and Safety Officer at HazTek Inc.

Throughout their career, Nicholas D'Ambrosio has demonstrated expertise in data analytics, digital intelligence, unmanned systems, program management, academia, and environmental and safety compliance.

Nicholas DAmbrosio, Ph.D., GISP has a strong educational background with multiple degrees. Nicholas began their education at Seton Hall University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy in 2004. Nicholas further pursued their academic goals at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Policy Studies in 2009. Following this, Nicholas attended Montclair State University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Sustainability Science in 2017. During their time at Montclair State University, they also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Science & Management, which they successfully completed in 2017. In addition to their academic achievements, Nicholas holds various certifications, including a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification obtained in 2012 from the GIS Certification Institute. Nicholas has also obtained certifications in different fields, such as access to secret information, anti-terrorism training, and construction quality management.
