Alexander Arango

Alexander Arango has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Alexander most recently served as the VP of Security at Nomi Health starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at Stealth from 2023 to 2024 and was a part of the Customer Advisory Board at Contrast Security from 2023 to 2023. From 2019 to 2023, they held the position of Deputy CISO and Head of Cyber Threat Management at Mercury Financial. Before that, Alexander worked as a Senior Security Engineer at FactSet from 2015 to 2019, where they led and collaborated on secure application and network designs, implemented security solutions, and managed security incidents. Alexander also has experience as a Network Security Administrator at Rackspace and Capital Health System in 2013. In addition, they worked as a Cybersecurity Independent Contractor at the Port Authority of NY & NJ in 2013. Alexander began their career as a Digital Network Analyst in the US Army from 2008 to 2012.

Alexander Arango has attended the Cyber Leadership Institute, National Cryptologic University, and Cochise College. Alexander has obtained certifications such as Payment Card Industry Professional from the PCI Security Standards Council and the Cyber Leadership Program from the Cyber Leadership Institute. Alexander also holds the PCNSE Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer certification.
