Ankit Garg

Ankit Garg is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit trading and analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director at Nomura since April 2014, Ankit has progressed through various roles, including Executive Director, Vice President, and Associate, primarily focusing on trading China Corporates USD Bonds and Asian credit markets. Ankit began at Nomura as a Summer Analyst in 2013, receiving a Pre-Placement Offer for a Senior Analyst position. Prior to Nomura, Ankit gained valuable experience at Deutsche Bank as an Analyst on the Securitization desk, where significant contributions included developing pricing models for US subprime mezzanine bonds and optimizing desk liabilities. Ankit holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, along with summer internships in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at both the University of Toronto and Pohang University of Science and Technology.
