Sebastian Jones

Sebastian Jones is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance across the Asia and ASEAN regions. Currently serving as the Head of Equity Private Placements for Asia ex-Japan at Nomura since April 2021, Sebastian also held the position of TMT Investment Banking, Asia ex-Japan. Prior to Nomura, Sebastian was the Head of Equity Capital Solutions for ASEAN at Macquarie Group from January 2018 to April 2021. Sebastian’s career also includes a role as Director of Corporate Finance at Canaccord Genuity from April 2009 to December 2017 and as an Associate in Corporate Finance at Landsbanki from June 2006 to April 2009. Sebastian holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School (2005-2006) and a BSc in Geophysics from UCL (2002-2005).
