Nonacus
Mario Neou is a Field Application Specialist at Nonacus since August 2023. Prior to that, Mario held the position of Subject Matter Expert Bioinformatics at SOPHiA GENETICS from September 2021 to August 2023. Mario has a background in bioinformatics engineering and has worked on various projects, including the genomic characterization of pituitary neuroendocrine tumors at Institut Cochin and the genomic aberration study of adrenocortical carcinoma. Mario has a PhD in Genetics from Université Paris Cité and a MSC in Bio-informatics from UPMC.

Nonacus is focused on delivering innovative technologies to the genomic healthcare sector through the use of cell free circulating DNA as a non-invasive diagnostic tool. Nonacus was created by a team of highly motivated scientists and sector professionals with experience in translating research into routine diagnostic tools that benefit patients. Nonacus provides end to end validated solutions for the use of cell free DNA in genetic testing. Established in 2015 and located at the Birmingham BioHub UK we have been actively perfecting and refining our processes for use in healthcare diagnostics.
