Samuel Clokie PhD is currently serving as Director Of Bioinformatics & Data Science at Nonacus Ltd, where Samuel leads the bioinformatics team to utilize cutting-edge approaches for Non-Invasive Healthcare. Prior to their current role, Samuel worked with Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust as a Principal Clinical Bioinformatician and with the National Institutes of Health as a Special Volunteer and Research Fellow. Samuel also has experience in academia, having worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh. Samuel holds a PhD in Biochemistry from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee.

Nonacus is focused on delivering innovative technologies to the genomic healthcare sector through the use of cell free circulating DNA as a non-invasive diagnostic tool. Nonacus was created by a team of highly motivated scientists and sector professionals with experience in translating research into routine diagnostic tools that benefit patients. Nonacus provides end to end validated solutions for the use of cell free DNA in genetic testing. Established in 2015 and located at the Birmingham BioHub UK we have been actively perfecting and refining our processes for use in healthcare diagnostics.
