Maria Huerta

Maria Huerta has extensive experience in student engagement and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as a Student Worker at the University of Houston since September 2015, Maria provides consultations to students on campus involvement, manages resource spaces, facilitates workshops, and oversees event planning for The Center for Student Involvement. Additionally, Maria holds leadership roles at the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance-David M. Underwood Chapter, managing committees focused on retreats and membership. Past experiences include a Development Internship at Literacy Advance of Houston, where Maria supported donor relations and logistics, and various leadership positions in AIESEC Houston. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Houston, with minors in Global and International Studies, Spanish, and Nonprofit Management.
