Joanna Wolverton has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Joanna is currently working as the Head of Team Development at Nonprofit Megaphone since January 2021. Prior to this, Joanna served in various roles in the United States Air Force. As the Analysis, Correlation, and Fusion Section Chief at the 710th Combat Operations Squadron from July 2014 to July 2015, they showcased their expertise in data analysis and fusion. Earlier in 2014, they held the position of Flight Commander at the 718th Intelligence Squadron. From October 2013 to April 2014, Joanna served as the Assistant Director of Operations at the 45th Intelligence Squadron. Joanna also held the position of Chief of Standardization and Evaluation at the United States Air Force from November 2011 to September 2013, where they focused on ensuring adherence to standards and evaluation processes. Before that, Joanna was an Executive Officer at the US Air Force from October 2010 to September 2011, showcasing their strong organizational and administrative skills.

Joanna Wolverton pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Duke University, which they completed between 2002 and 2006. Following a break in their education, they returned to academia in 2011 and obtained a Master's Degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from the American Military University, completing their studies in 2013.
