Andrew Ohakam is an experienced Information Technology Consultant currently working at Nor-Cal FDC since October 2023. Previously, Andrew held the position of Junior Front-End Developer at Responsify from January 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included building frontend applications and implementing UI changes using React, JavaScript, CSS, and Material UI. Earlier, Andrew started as a Frontend Developer Mentee at Responsify in 2020, gaining hands-on experience in web development by renovating client websites with HTML and CSS. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Lehman College and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science from Lehman College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Nor- Cal FDC’s mission is to drive the local economy by supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs through access to capital. Their lending, banking, and technology partners provide greater access to a variety of sources of capital to small business owners in Northern California, Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay area. In 2014-15, Nor-Cal FDC was recognized by the U.S Treasury as a leader of providing capital access to businesses in Low-to-Moderate income communities. Nor-Cal FDC was also recognized by the State of California for its loan portfolio diversity that includes minorities and women. Per the State of California annual production reports, Nor-Cal FDC had accounted for over 40% for the entire state of guarantees to minority borrowers and over 30% to women owned businesses.
