Mark Schmith

Mark Schmith currently serves as the Information Technology Operations Supervisor at Trinity Health, overseeing IT operations for MercyOne hospital and clinics in northwest Iowa since February 2024. Prior to this role, Mark was the Information Technology Systems Director and Operations Director at Sioux City Journal/Lee Enterprises for nearly 20 years, managing production and mailroom operations while providing hardware and software support. Earlier experience includes positions at Boys and Girls Home and Family Services as an MIS Technician, and regional IT management roles at Lockheed Martin Information Technology. Mark also held various technical support and management positions at Gateway Information Technology and contributed to the entertainment and advertising sectors in earlier career roles at Little Richie’s Inc. and Inkahoots Inc.
