Yixin Ding

Yixin Ding has extensive experience in computer vision engineering. Most recently, they have been a Sr. Computer Vision Engineer at Norbert Health since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Sensor Engineer at SoftBank Robotics Europe from 2018 to 2021, where they were the technical lead for Lidar and IMU and was responsible for writing specifications, RFP and RFQ, and technical meetings with suppliers. In 2018, they also held an Image Science Internship at DxOMark Image Labs, where they designed and implemented the Video Zoom Quality protocol. In 2017, they held an Engineering Internship at Valeo, where they built software to generate test reports and compute metrics automatically on the production line. In 2016, they held a Research Internship at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, where they worked on making a "transportable" bi static LIDAR that measures the surface velocity of a vortex.

Yixin Ding's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 2016, a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Université Paris-Saclay in 2018, a M.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from CentraleSupélec in 2018, and a M.Sc in Photonics from Institut d'Optique Graduate School in 2018.
