Project Manager at Norbit

Øyvind Standal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Øyvind started their career at Nortroll AS as an R&D Engineer from 1996 to 2000. Øyvind then worked at Atmel Norway as a Senior Design Engineer from 2000 to 2002, and later as a Group Manager Emulator Tools from 2003 to 2006.

In 2006, Øyvind joined Q-Free ASA as a Technical Project Manager, where they worked until 2007. Øyvind then became the Manager R&D Industrialization, responsible for industrializing manufacturing processes and collaborating with OEM manufacturers. From 2010 to 2016, they served as a Product Manager/Business Development and later as the Head of Global Commercial Product Management Parking. In 2017, Øyvind briefly worked as the Acting General Manager at Q-Free Traffiko.

In 2018, Øyvind joined Duun industrier AS as a Production Manager, where they managed production operations until 2020. Currently, they work at NORBIT ASA as a Project Manager, starting in September 2020.

Øyvind Standal's education history includes a Master of Technology Management (MTM) degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) obtained between 2008 and 2011. The degree focused on Technology Management, Organization, Strategy, Teamwork, Innovation, and Finance.

In 2010, Øyvind Standal also pursued a Management of Technology Certificate from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. This program specifically centered around the Management of Technology.

Earlier in their education, between 1992 and 1994, Øyvind Standal obtained an M.Sc degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). This degree was in the fields of Electronics, Photonics, and Computer Science.

Prior to that, from 1989 to 1992, Øyvind Standal studied Electronics at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST), obtaining a B.Sc degree.

Furthermore, Øyvind Standal has obtained a certification in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2015.
