Martin Bertao

Martin Bertao is a dynamic political leader currently serving as Chairman for the California College Republicans and President of the UC Berkeley College Republicans since June and April 2024, respectively. In these roles, Martin represents the organizations at political events, oversees member recruitment, and sets agendas to enhance political engagement. Additionally, Martin is a Central Committeeman and Youth Liaison for the Alameda County Republican Party, where responsibilities include voting on resolutions and fostering connections between the party and youth. Martin also contributes as an Opinion Writer for the Berkeley Political Review and has experience as a referee in soccer and flag football. Martin is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, having previously graduated from Turlock High School in June 2023.
