Marisa Ruiz Retamar

Marisa Ruiz Retamar is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in developing and transforming HR functions across various organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Norconsult since June 2022, Marisa previously held the role of HR Director at OSLO KOMMUNE UTDANNINGSETATEN, where the HR department was strategically enhanced to support 900 school leaders and 17,000 employees. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at Avinor Air Navigation Services, where Marisa headed HR, Learning & Development, and Legal Services, and informed HR initiatives for over 1,000 employees. Marisa's earlier tenure at Avinor also involved transforming HR from a traditional function to a key business partner. Additionally, experience at Vox (now Kompetanse Norge) as HR Manager involved establishing an HR unit post-merger. Marisa holds an Executive Master of Management from BI Norwegian Business School and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Universidad de Granada.
