Matin Bagherpour

Matin Bagherpour is a highly experienced professional in algorithm design and optimization, currently serving as a Senior Algorithm Design Expert at Nord Pool AS since March 2019. Prior to this role, Matin held positions as a Principal Optimization Expert at Decisive AS and a Senior Energy Analyst at Nord Pool AS. Matin's expertise includes developing price calculation algorithms, analyzing application requirements, prototyping mathematical models, and enhancing system architecture. Matin also possesses a strong academic background, with a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, as well as a Master's degree from Polytechnique of Tehran and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Matin has previously contributed to teaching and research in ICT economics and industrial engineering.
