Jan Haase

Jan Haase has extensive experience in academia and professional organizations, currently serving as the IEEE Germany Section Chair since January 2021 and as a Full Professor at NORDAKADEMIE since July 2020. Previously, Jan held a Temporary Professor position at the University of Lübeck from April 2016 to July 2020 and lectured at Helmut Schmidt University from July 2014 to July 2020. Jan's involvement with IEEE includes roles such as the IEEE R8 Conference Coordination Subcommittee Chair from January 2013 to December 2014 and IEEE Austria Section Chair from January 2010 to January 2012. Additionally, Jan contributed to Mensa Austria as Secretary General and LocSec in Vienna from 2009 to 2014, and was active in Mensa Germany as LocSec Frankfurt from May 2005 to November 2007. Jan's early career included project leadership and scientific roles at Vienna University of Technology from January 2007 to April 2014.
