Adam Henson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Adam started their career as an IT & Data Technician at Holy Trinity Catholic School, where they provided technical support and data analysis. Adam then moved up to become an Assistant Data Manager, responsible for maintaining data integrity and producing reports. Later, at the same school, they became the IT Manager, leading a team and overseeing infrastructure projects.
Adam then transitioned to the role of IT Development Manager at Balaam Wood Academy, where they implemented new systems and improved data security. Adam then joined Fresh Insurance Group as an Infrastructure Engineer, leading projects to transform the company's IT infrastructure. Utilizing Microsoft Azure, they created a secure cloud-hosted platform and implemented a virtualization platform.
Next, Adam worked at IreckonU as a System Engineer Cloud Services and later as an Operational Solutions Architect. In these roles, they focused on Azure technologies, leading the implementation of Azure DevOps, designing infrastructure-as-code templates, and disseminating standardized solutions.
Currently, Adam is working at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, as a Senior Azure Cloud Architect and Azure Tech Lead Benelux. Adam'sresponsibilities include account CTO for multinational enterprise clients, establishing cloud center of excellence, and delivering technical solutions. Adam is also involved in pre-sales, delivery, and hyperscaler alliance steering committees.
Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated expertise in Azure technologies, project management, and leadership, consistently contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked for.
Adam Henson earned a foundation degree in Sound Production & Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton from 2008 to 2010. Adam also has various certifications from Microsoft, including Azure Architect Design, Azure Architect Technologies, Azure Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Professional, Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V & System Center, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
