Balázs Nagy

Balázs Nagy has a diverse range of work experience in the IT industry. Balázs is currently working as a Cloud Solution Architect / Team Lead at Nordcloud, an IBM Company. Prior to this, they worked at Serco for six years as an Informatica Expert / Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse Expert. In this role, they were responsible for system integration, release & change management, as well as Informatica ETL design and development. Balázs also provided support and administration for an Enterprise Data Warehouse / BI platform in the banking field. Before Serco, Balázs worked at Areus Infocommunication Plc. as a Data Integration Team Lead / Informatica ETL Consultant. Balázs coordinated the Data Integration Team and provided consultation and training services for Informatica customers. Balázs also delivered presentations and workshops about Data Integration and Data Governance. Balázs has also worked in various roles at EOS Matrix, Astron Informatics Ltd., and IRF Softwarehouse Ltd., where they gained experience in Oracle database architecture, business intelligence, and data warehouse development.

Balázs Nagy completed their education from 2002 to 2008 at Eötvös Loránd University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Geoinformatical Databases and Data Warehousing. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Gitlab Certified CI/CD Specialist from GitLab, the ITIL v4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Axelos / Peoplecert, the Informatica Certified Big Data Specialist from Informatica University, and various Bronze Accreditations from Areus Infocommunication Plc. and Oracle Partner Network in different areas of expertise.
