Wojtek Kubiak

Wojtek Kubiak has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Wojtek currently works at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, as an AWS Senior Solutions Architect / Engineering Lead, where they are responsible for architecting, advising, and provisioning public cloud services. Wojtek guides and influences others in terms of business, people, and technology strategy.

Prior to their current role, Wojtek worked at Cybercom Group from 2005 to 2021. Wojtek served as a Cloud Technical Leader, responsible for providing Managed Cloud Services and acquiring new customers. Wojtek created and implemented Cloud strategies, led and supported Cloud teams in IT project development and maintenance, provided advisory and consultancy in cloud migration, and managed business planning, project management, and budgeting. Wojtek also held the role of Business Line Manager, where they managed a team of 12 employees, coached and motivated them, and planned their development. Additionally, they worked as an IT Manager for over 10 years, overseeing business continuity, budgets, networking, migrations, and the recruitment and personal development of the IT team. Wojtek also participated in IT audits supporting the security department. At Cybercom Group, Wojtek also worked as a Security Consultant, IT Administrator, and Software Engineer.

Prior to their time at Cybercom Group, Wojtek worked at Sirius Systems as a Service employee from 2003 to 2004.

Wojtek Kubiak has a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Lodz University of Technology, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. Wojtek also pursued a post-graduate degree in Informatics from the University of Lodz from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, they completed a degree in Electronics (mgr) from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2002 to 2003. Wojtek Kubiak acquired post-graduate certifications in IT administration from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in 2009 and in Cisco and Microsoft from Wyższa Szkoła Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi from 2006 to 2007. Wojtek completed their secondary education at Nicolaus Copernicus High School No. 1 in Łódź from 1994 to 1998. Furthermore, Wojtek Kubiak holds several industry certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, Google Cloud Essentials, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Approved Scanning Vendor, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Service Provider Operations (CCNA).
