Daniel Kartun

Daniel Kartun currently serves as a Data Scientist in Financial Markets at NORD/LB since September 2021, following a role as Trainee Data Science for Financial Markets. Additionally, Kartun has been a Dozent für Big Data & KI at WelfenAkademie e. V. since February 2025, responsible for creating and delivering lecture content on Big Data and AI. Previous experience includes serving as a student assistant at Technische Universität Braunschweig from October 2017 to March 2021, where responsibilities included leading tutorial groups and assisting students with exam preparation. Kartun also completed internships at Volkswagen AG in production during 2018 and 2019, focusing on error visualization and process optimization. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Maschinenbau and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, both from Technische Universität Braunschweig.
