Samir Ruhayel

Samir Ruhayel, CFA, has extensive experience in asset management and risk solutions within the finance industry. As a Portfolio Manager at Nordea Asset Management since June 2016, Samir focuses on Euro IG Bonds and European Crossover Credit strategies, with particular emphasis on the TMT, Real Estate, and Auto sectors. Prior roles include Executive Director and VP at Nomura and Nordea Markets, respectively, where Samir managed risk solutions for Nordic clients and originated high yield debt deals. Earlier career experiences at UBS and Charles River Associates involved corporate coverage in debt capital markets, structured products, and consulting for the oil and gas sector. Samir holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and an International Baccalaureate from Malmö Borgarskola.
