Yana Ponte

Yana Ponte has an extensive work experience in the financial sector. Yana is currently working as the Chief Onboarding and Product Specialist at Nordea Asset Management since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Project Manager of B2B Onboarding - Asset Management at the same company from February 2016 to December 2021.

Before joining Nordea Asset Management, Yana worked at Saxo Bank where they held the position of Manager from September 2014 to September 2015. During their time at Saxo Bank, they ensured smooth integration and business work processes for over 3,000 requests, leading to increased client satisfaction and business growth. Yana also played a key role in onboarding institutional clients on operational issues.

Yana's work history also includes a role at Saxo Bank as part of the Latin Desk team from May 2008 to December 2013. In this position, they drove the growth of institutional business and headed global projects to generate long-term partnerships for the online trading platform. Yana was responsible for onboarding new White Label and B2B clients, and handled contract negotiations, trading conditions agreements, legal matters, IT, risk, and compliance.

Earlier in their career, Yana worked at The World Bank as an Investment Officer from July 2000 to May 2005, and at IFC - World Bank as an Associated Investment Officer/Deputy Regional Manager from July 1997 to August 2000.

Yana Ponte holds a Master's degree in International Management (MIM) from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. In addition, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from Fundacao Dom Cabral between 1998 and 1999. Yana Ponte also possesses additional certifications like the ACI - Dealing certificate from The Finance Market Association in 2011 and is certified in Prince II - Project management from The Prince2 Academy.
