Juan Estevez Castillo

Juan Estevez Castillo is an accomplished performance engineer with extensive experience in banking technology and software quality assurance. Currently serving as an Expert Performance Engineer at Nordea since July 2017, Juan leads performance and reliability testing for Core Banking and Default Management projects. Prior to Nordea, Juan held various engineering roles at Thomson Reuters, including Interim Lead Automation Testing Engineer and Performance Engineer, where responsibilities included team leadership, non-functional testing management, and development of automated testing frameworks. Juan's technical expertise encompasses a wide range of tools and programming languages, including HP/Microfocus Performance testing suite, Jmeter, C#, Java, and Python. Juan holds degrees in Telecommunications Technical Engineering from Universidad de Jaén and participated in an Erasmus program at Gdańsk University of Technology.
