Peter Bakke

Peter Bakke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in market risk management and technology within the financial sector, currently serving as the Director and Head of Market Risk Business Technology at Nordea since November 2012. In this role, Peter leads a team responsible for the development and maintenance of market risk IT systems that incorporate regulatory capital models and analytical capabilities for risk managers and traders. Previous positions at Nordea include Chief Risk Manager and Senior Risk Manager, where responsibilities spanned from managing market risk infrastructure to implementing capital requirements under the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book. Peter holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning from the Technical University of Denmark and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, among other academic qualifications.
