Satu Vartiainen

Satu Vartiainen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the banking sector. Currently serving as Country CFO Finland and Head of Finance Finland at Nordea since December 2013, Vartiainen also holds the position of CFO at Nordea Mortgage Bank Plc and has been the Head of Legal and Regulatory Reporting at Nordea Bank Finland Ltd since May 2015. Prior experience includes serving as CFO at MCB Finance Finland Ltd from August 2012 to November 2013, and as Head of Group Reporting and Control at Itella Bank Ltd from April 2011 to July 2012. Additional roles include Director of Finance and Risk Management at Diners Club Finland and SEB Kort AB, and Accounting Manager at Nordea and Opstock. Vartiainen holds a Master of Economic Science degree in Economics and Financing from the Helsinki School of Economics, earned between 1986 and 1990.
