Thorsten Mayr

Thorsten Mayr is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Nordea, Thorsten has also held key positions such as Head of Core Infrastructure and Head of Cloud & Application Hosting. Prior roles include leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibilities encompassed Head of AD, Messaging & Collaboration, Head of Strategic Programmes, and Head of Voice & Networks Operations. At Barclays, Thorsten led Voice Solutions for the APAC region and served as an Information Technology Infrastructure Consultant within Barclays Investment Bank. Earlier in the career, Thorsten worked as a Network Architect for Cancer Research. Thorsten holds a degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, completed between 1999 and 2002.
