Joey Johns

Joey Johns is an experienced commissioning manager with a strong background in the wind energy sector, currently working at Nordex Group since May 2017. At Nordex, Joey has advanced from a commissioning supervisor to a commissioning manager, successfully leading a team of 28 professionals and forging essential partnerships with contractors and engineering entities. Noteworthy accomplishments include overseeing the commissioning of the Diamond Vista wind farm and achieving significant operational improvements at Red Dirt. Prior to Nordex, Joey held roles at Diamond WTG Engineering & Services, Inc., Gamesa, GES USA, Inc., and Ford Motor Credit Company, showcasing a diverse skill set in quality control, technical troubleshooting, and compliance auditing. Joey holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Wind Energy from Ecotech Institute, a certificate in Organizational Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin, and is pursuing an Associate of Arts in French Language and Literature at Community College of Denver.
