Luis Alberto Fernandez Romero

Luis Alberto Fernandez Romero currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Nordex Group since May 2023. Previously, Luis held significant leadership roles at Siemens Gamesa from May 2015 to March 2021, including Project Head Onshore and Operations Director for the South of Europe and Africa, overseeing multiple manufacturing facilities and their P&L. Prior to that, Luis worked at Gamesa Innovation & Technology from November 1999 to May 2015, where responsibilities ranged from Plant Manager for Nacelles in Agreda to Operations Director in India, where Luis laid the foundation for industrial operations. Luis began his career as a Manufacturing Engineer and holds an MBA from IE Business School and a PDD from IESE Business School.
