Nigel Hayes

Nigel Hayes is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Division Europe Vice President Sales and Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at Nordex Group since March 2015. Nigel has a strong background in project development, having previously held managerial roles at Brookfield Renewable Energy Group and Bord Gáis Energy, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of wind generation assets totaling 750MW. Earlier experience includes project management in wind energy at SWS Energy and engineering roles at Analog Devices, where Nigel designed integrated circuits and managed product development cycles. Nigel holds a Master's in Sustainable Energy and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering from University College Cork.
