Thomas Bauer

Thomas Bauer is a highly experienced engineer specializing in load calculation for wind energy converters, currently serving as Team Lead for the Load Calculation Division Europe at Nordex Group since October 2015. Prior to this role, Thomas has held positions as Expert Engineer and Senior Engineer within the same organization. Academic experience includes serving as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Rostock from March 2014 to September 2015, focusing on research in wind energy and teaching. Earlier experience with Windrad Engineering involved conducting load calculations and developing software for wind energy converters, both onshore and offshore. Thomas's academic background includes a Dr.rer.nat. in theoretical physics and a diploma in physics from the University of Münster, where contributions also included teaching and research in scientific computing and computer simulations.
