Chantal Roy

Chantal Roy is an experienced environmental manager with a comprehensive background in environmental services and project management spanning several decades. Currently serving as Environmental Manager at Nordgold since November 2014, Chantal has overseen ESIA studies for significant projects such as the Bouly Project in Burkina Faso and the Montagne d'Or Project in French Guiana. Prior roles include Environment Superintendent at Emirates Global Aluminium, where Chantal supported engineering studies and updated the ESIA for a bauxite mine-rail-port development. Previous positions also include Biologist/Project Manager at SNC-LAVALIN Inc, responsible for environmental services across various project phases, and Environment Unit Supervisor at VILLE DE TROIS-RIVIERES, focusing on compliance and environmental regulation.
