Dominic Surano

Dominic Surano is an experienced aerospace engineer with a robust background in leadership and technical roles across various companies in the defense and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as Director of Special Projects at Nordic Air Defence since July 2025, Dominic previously held positions at Anduril Industries, including Director of Deployment Engineering and Senior Deployments Engineer. Prior experience also includes Product Manager for System Architecture at Insitu Inc., where Dominic developed product architectures for UAS systems, and Staff Mechanical Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, focusing on aeroelasticity and dynamic analysis. Dominic began his career at California Polytechnic State University, contributing as a laboratory technician and teaching assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.
