Kåre Engkilde

Kåre Engkilde, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at BioInnovation Institute, where Kåre leads the SpaceM project focused on single-cell metabolomics. Kåre is also an Advisory Board Member at IVRS AB, providing strategic consulting, and acts as a mentor through the Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship, supporting life science companies. Previous roles include Senior Business Advisor at SmiLe Incubator, Chief Executive Officer at Amniotics AB, and Head of Medical & Clinical Affairs at Agilent Technologies. Kåre's extensive experience spans various prestigious organizations including Bioneer A/S, LEO Pharma A/S, Novo Nordisk, and Rigshospitalet & Danish Diabetes Academy. Kåre holds a PhD in Dermatology, Immunology & Epidemiology from the University of Copenhagen and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark.
