Fabrizio Stefani

Fabrizio Stefani is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Deputy Project Director at NORDIC MINING ASA since May 2023, Fabrizio has held significant roles in various companies, including Chief Technology Officer - Projects at Hydragas Energy Limited, where involvement in renewable gas extraction and gas-to-power projects in Rwanda was notable. Previous positions include General Manager at IMAB Power, Engineering Manager at Hatch, and Principal Mechanical Engineer at SGS Bateman, showcasing expertise in major projects such as the Iron Bridge Project in Australia and the Nordic Rutile Project in Norway. Fabrizio began the career as a Graduate Engineer at Murray and Roberts, later progressing through mechanical engineering roles at Hatch Africa and PGBI Engineers & Constructors. Educational credentials include a GDE and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
