Laishy Williams-Carlson

Laishy Williams-Carlson has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 1992 to 1998, they worked as a Controller at Maryview Health Corporation - Bon Secours. Laishy then joined Bon Secours Hampton Roads as a VP/CIO in 1998, where they served until 2007. Laishy continued their career at Bon Secours Health System from 2006 to 2018, initially working as a Regional VP/CIO and later becoming the CIO from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Roper St. Francis Healthcare as an SVP&CIO until 2022. Following that, they worked at Bon Secours Mercy Health as the CIO from 2018 to 2021 and then as the CIO - BSMH and RSFH from 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Client Information Officer at Nordic Global since 2024.

Laishy Williams-Carlson obtained a Master's degree in Health Administration (MSHA) from Virginia Commonwealth University, from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business and Accounting from Old Dominion University, studying from 1979 to 1982.
