Kirstine Vinderskov

Kirstine Vinderskov is an experienced media professional specializing in children's programming and audience research. Currently serving as the Commissioner for feature films for kids and youth at The Danish Film Institute since September 2023, Kirstine has also held various roles at Nordisk Film since May 2018, including Channel Editor and Head of Kids & Family Distribution. As an independent kids and media expert, Kirstine offers specialized knowledge on children as a media target group. Previous experience includes hosting a radio show at Radio24syv, editorial roles at Lindhardt og Ringhof Forlag, and leadership at DR - Danmarks Radio, where Kirstine directed children's brand strategies. Kirstine has contributed to media education as an Associate Professor at the Danish School of Media & Journalism and has extensive experience in audience research from DRTV. Academically, Kirstine holds multiple degrees in media studies and sociology from Lund University, Roskilde University, and Middlesex University.
