Riina Zachariassen

Riina Zachariassen is a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in film distribution at Nordisk Film since June 2022, with previous experience at DR - Danmarks Radio as Senior Legal Counsel from June 2019 to May 2022. Riina has served as a Freelance Legal Advisor and Producer at Instigate Projects, where various independent film producers sought legal guidance across fiction, documentary, and new media. Additionally, Riina held the position of Head of Legal Affairs & Production at Hound Studios, concentrating on high-end feature-length documentaries. Previously, as an Executive Producer at Bacon, Riina supported the expansion into feature film production. Other roles include Junior Producer at Fridthjof Film, where project financing and legal needs were managed, and various managerial positions at CPH PIX and CPH:DOX, focused on arts projects and industry activities. Riina's educational background includes a BA and MA in Law from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Law in EC Regulation of Culture & Mass Media from The University of Edinburgh.
