Eglė Bakštytė

Eglė Bakštytė has extensive work experience in the legal field. Eglė is currently serving as the Lead Privacy & Marketing Legal Counsel at Nord Security, a role they began in October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Legal Counsel at Nord Security from October 2020 to October 2021. Before joining Nord Security, Eglė worked as a Senior Associate at COBALT Legal from 2016 to 2020. Eglė also worked as an Associate at TARK GRUNTE SUTKIENE from 2014 to 2016. Eglė gained teaching experience as a Lecturer of Consumer Protection Law at Mykolas Romeris University from 2012 to 2014 and Lecturer of Consumer Law at Tarptautinė teisės ir verslo aukštoji mokykla from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they held roles in practice development and as a lawyer at Baltic Legal Solutions Lithuania from 2011 to 2014. Eglė has also held positions in the public sector, including serving as the Head of the Division of Unfair Commercial Practice and Advertisement at Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba from 2008 to 2011 and as a Senior Specialist (Legal / EU Affairs) from 2004 to 2007. Eglė was a Member of the Arbitration Commission at the Lithuanian Advertising Bureau from 2008 to 2011. Eglė began their career as the President of the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) Vilnius from 2002 to 2003.

Eglė Bakštytė holds a Master of Law degree from Vilnius University. Eglė also has a Master of Communication and Information Sciences degree with a focus on Journalism from the same university. Eglė pursued Law Studies at the University of Konstanz.
