Deniz Anders is the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Nordstrom. Deniz has over fifteen years of experience in marketing, with a focus on branding and digital marketing. Deniz has been with Nordstrom for ten years, and in their current role, they lead a team of 70+ developing brand strategy, marketing campaigns, advertising (digital channels and traditional brand media), events, social media, and strategic marketing partnerships for Nordstrom. Prior to their current role, Deniz served as the Designer Marketing Director at Nordstrom, where they developed and implemented a strategic marketing and communication plan that tripled sales in designer-level merchandise across all categories. In this role, they also managed high-profile Designer personal appearances and charity events including Proenza Schouler, Burberry, Missoni, Tory Burch, and Nordstrom’s first ever Chanel runway show. Deniz has a deep understanding of the fashion industry and has been a partner to EVP of Designer Division, and Company President of Merchandising to build and maintain relationships in industry to achieve marketing and distribution goals. Deniz has also designed and executed product knowledge and training meetings for over 3,000 employees nationwide.

Deniz Anders completed a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at the University of Washington.

They are on a team with Farrell B. Redwine - Chief Human Resources Officer, Alexis Depree - Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Peter E. Nordstrom - President & Chief Brand Officer. Deniz Anders reports to Erik B. Nordstrom, CEO & Director.
