I-Chiang Chen

I-Chiang Chen is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering for Search and Platform at Nordstrom since January 2019, I-Chiang also contributes as an Industry Mentor at the University of Washington MSIS program. Previous roles include Software Development Manager for International Expansion at Amazon and various leadership positions at Expedia, Inc., where responsibilities ranged from overseeing engineering teams to pioneering natural language processing techniques. I-Chiang's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Washington and ongoing professional education in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from MIT, alongside participation in an Executive Development Program at the University of Washington.
