Josphat Phiri

Josphat Phiri is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in chemical engineering and materials science. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Nordtreat since March 2022, Josphat's expertise includes research and development in energy storage devices utilizing renewable materials. Previous roles include a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University, focusing on electrochemical analyses, fabrication of supercapacitors, and innovative methods for nanocellulose films. Josphat has contributed to significant projects during tenure as a Research Engineer at the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS," where responsibilities included developing nanocoatings and overseeing PVD equipment. Education includes a D.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Aalto University and a Master's degree in Metallurgy from the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS."
