Minna Hätönen

Minna Hätönen is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the development of fire-retardant coatings for wooden construction. Current roles include Product Manager and R&D Manager at Nordtreat since May 2022. Previously, Minna served as a researcher at Tikkurila Oyj from June 2013 to May 2022, contributing to the development of 1-component water-borne paints and lacquers for the wood industry, with a focus on fire-retardant coatings. Minna's earlier positions at Tikkurila involved analytical work in the laboratory, including sample analysis and binder identification. Minna also has research experience from the University of Turku, where work included the fabrication of conductive films and studies of electrochemical properties. Minna holds a Master of Science in Material Chemistry from the University of Turku and is a certified NLP Practitioner.
