Maher Makarem

Maher Makarem is a Process Development Engineer at Nordzucker AG since October 2021, with prior experience as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer UMSICHT from March 2020 to January 2021, where responsibilities included commissioning measurement devices and conducting pulse adsorption experiments. Earlier, Maher served as an intern at SMLC PepsiCo in mid-2016, focusing on quality control tests for finished products. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from FH Münster (2018-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Beirut (2013-2017), complemented by a Lebanese Baccalaureate obtained from Beirut Baptist School (1999-2013).
