John Nagro

John Nagro is a seasoned technology leader and co-founder of Noreaster Group, an agency dedicated to helping businesses develop and align their product and market strategies, since March 2024. Previously, Nagro served as a Principal Software Engineer at edX from September 2021 to March 2024, contributing to a platform that connects millions of learners with top universities and companies. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Technology Officer at both Marinas.com and Dockwa, as well as co-founding The Wanderlust Group, focusing on encouraging outdoor engagement. Nagro also held the role of Director of Engineering at HubSpot from January 2010 to April 2015, and worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft Startup Labs. An early career began as a Software Engineer at Eons, Inc., specializing in social networking for baby boomers. Nagro holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
