Nicole A. Velasco has extensive experience in business development, economic growth, and civic engagement. Currently serving as a Business Development professional at NORESCO since March 2017, Nicole focuses on energy projects in Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest, emphasizing workforce development and sustainability. Previously, Nicole held the position of Executive Director at the City and County of Honolulu’s Office of Economic Development, overseeing various industries and fostering partnerships. Nicole’s background includes roles as Executive Secretary of the Neighborhood Commission, Government Affairs Advisor at Ashford & Wriston, and research positions in the Hawaii State House of Representatives and the Office of the Auditor.
